School Uniform
At Mandeville, our school uniform helps children feel part of our community and promotes a sense of belonging and pride in our school. Wearing a smart, practical uniform supports a positive learning environment where every child feels included and ready to learn.
We expect all pupils to wear the school uniform and greatly appreciate the support of parents and carers in helping us apply our expectations consistently and fairly.

Footwear In the interests of safety as well as appearance, children should wear suitable footwear for school. Shoes should fasten securely and be plain black and low heeled with enclosed toes. Boots, sandals, sling backs and trainers are not appropriate for school.
Hair accessories These should be plain black or red (or gingham in summer) hairband/elastics and slides.
PE/sports kit - Black shorts with school crest - Red round necked t-shirt with school crest preferred, plain red non-crested round necked t-shirt acceptable - Trainers - Plain black tracksuit top and bottoms
Jewellery We discourage the wearing of jewellery but where necessary, small, plain stud earrings are allowed. These must be removed or taped over when participating in PE lessons.
All items of uniform must be marked with the first and last name of your child. | |

At Mandeville, to help with school uniform costs, we offer preloved uniform items for a small donation to the school. These items can be purchased through our dedicated email (uniform@mandeville221.herts.sch.uk) throughout the school year.
Please feel free to get in touch and we will do our best to help. We also have a preloved stall available during our summer and Christmas fayres and at least once a term in the school playground. These dates will be communicated to all parents/carers via the office.
