Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision, and we are delighted that you are considering Mandeville Primary School. Whether you are applying for a Nursery or Reception place, we hope the information below helps guide you through the admissions process.
Mandeville Primary School admits pupils to both Nursery and Reception. These two classes are called the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’. Mandeville Primary School is a two-form entry primary school with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 60 pupils in Reception each year.
There are six year groups following the Foundation Stage. School policy is that no more than 30 pupils will be admitted to a single class, however we are dependent on the local authority to manage our admissions.

Reception online admissions opens on 3rd November 2025 and can be accessed at
The application window closes on 15th January 2026. You will be notified of the school you have been allocated on 16th April 2026.

Nursery Admissions 2026
Mandeville Primary School will have one intake for Nursery in September 2026 and is for those children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023. We offer 15 and 30-hour provision.
Applications are made directly to the school and this opens on Monday 12th January 2026 and closes Friday 6th March 2026. Places are offered by email on Monday 16th March 2025 and the deadline for parents to accept is Friday 24th April 2026. Mandeville's Admissions Policy is available below.

We anticipate each session lasting approximately one hour. You will have the opportunity to meet the Headteacher and the Early Years Leader.
