Mandeville Primary School admits pupils to both Nursery and Reception. These two classes are called the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’.
There are six year groups following the Foundation Stage. School policy is that no more than 30 pupils will be admitted to a single class, however we are dependent on the local authority to manage our admissions.
Mandeville Primary School is currently going through an expansion programme. Therefore, in 2023, we welcomed 60 pupils to Mandeville and will be doing so every year moving forward.
Each class has a full-time teacher and a learning support assistant is allocated according to the needs of the class. We believe that this system provides the best opportunities for learning for each child.

Reception online admissions opens on 1st November 2024 and can be accessed at
The application window closes on 15th January 2025. You will be notified of the school you have been allocated on 16th April 2025.

Nursery Admissions 2025
Mandeville Primary School will have one intake for Nursery in September 2025 and is for those children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022. We offer 15 and 30-hour provision.
Applications are made directly to the school and this opens on Monday 13th January 2025 and closes Friday 7th March 2025. Places are offered by email on Monday 17th March 2025 and the deadline for parents to accept is Friday 25th April 2025. Mandeville's Admissions Policy is available below.

We anticipate each session lasting approximately one hour. You will have the opportunity to meet the Headteacher and the Early Years Leader.
