Hello! My name is Rebecca Brown. I was a teacher for over twenty years in a range of settings including primary, secondary and adult education as well as quality assurance, EAL, special needs and senior management. I took ill health retirement and now volunteer at school as the PTA secretary, and teach small groups.
I really value being a governor for the insight it gives me into school life. In my free time I love to write, and I’m a published poet. I also really enjoy horse riding, baking and going to the gym. I have children in year one and four who are thriving at the school.
