Mandeville Primary School admits pupils to both Nursery and Reception. These two classes are called the ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’.
There are six year groups following the Foundation Stage, with each accommodating a single class. School policy is that no more than 30 pupils will be admitted to a single class, however we are dependent on the local authority to manage our admissions.
Mandeville Primary School is currently going through an expansion programme. Therefore, in 2023, we welcomed 60 pupils to Mandeville and will be doing so every year moving forward.
Each class has a full-time teacher and a learning support assistant is allocated according to the needs of the class. We believe that this system provides the best opportunities for learning for each child.

Reception online admissions opens on 1st November 2023 and can be accessed at
The application window closes on 15th January 2024. You will be notified of the school you have been allocated on 16th April 2024.

Nursery Admissions 2024
Mandeville Primary School will have one intake for Nursery in September 2024 and is for those children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021. We intend to be offering 15 and 30-hour provision.
Applications are made directly to the school and this opens on Monday 15th January 2024 and closes Friday 8th March 2024. Places are offered by email on Monday 18th March 2024 and the deadline for parents to accept is Monday 22nd April 2024. Mandeville's Admissions Policy is available below.
