Mandeville Primary School

Welcome to Mandeville Primary School

Outside Mandeville Primary SchoolAt Mandeville Primary School, we aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment, which has high expectations and values all members of the school community. We recognise and respect the needs and aspirations of all individuals and provide opportunities for all pupils to make the best possible progress and attain the highest personal achievements.

Pupils at Mandeville enjoy their learning and achieve highly. This success is as a result of a strong partnership between all members of the school community - pupils, parents/carers, staff and governors.

"All staff are highly dedicated professionals, committed not only to enabling pupils to make the very best progress, but also to helping them become independent, reflective learners. They also have a real sense of fun!" (Ofsted Inspection Report, June 2009)

Our intention is for this site to tell you a little about our school and what we value. Please browse through the pages and read the information available. We hope that you find it useful but strongly believe that you can best appreciate what we do by coming to see us. If you are a parent/carer considering Mandeville as a school for your child, we would encourage you to contact the school office and speak to Mrs Lee Attridge to arrange a visit. We look forward to meeting you and to answering any questions you have about the provision your child will receive here. We would be proud to show you around our school so you can see learning in action!

The Big Pedal

Mandeville took part in ‘The Big Pedal’, the UK’s largest inter-school cycling and scooting challenge from 18th to 29th April.

We came 32nd out of 114 in the East of England and 251st out of 1126 in the country. Our highest scoring Year group was Year 4, making a whopping 239 journeys. As a school we made 1359 journeys by bike or scooter over the 2 weeks. 10.5% of our school community supporters came on 2 wheels and 45.3% of the children.

Thank you to everyone who took part. What an achievement!
