Mandeville Primary School

Welcome to Mandeville Primary School

Outside Mandeville Primary SchoolAt Mandeville Primary School, we aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment, which has high expectations and values all members of the school community. We recognise and respect the needs and aspirations of all individuals and provide opportunities for all pupils to make the best possible progress and attain the highest personal achievements.

Pupils at Mandeville enjoy their learning and achieve highly. This success is as a result of a strong partnership between all members of the school community - pupils, parents/carers, staff and governors.

"All staff are highly dedicated professionals, committed not only to enabling pupils to make the very best progress, but also to helping them become independent, reflective learners. They also have a real sense of fun!" (Ofsted Inspection Report, June 2009)

Our intention is for this site to tell you a little about our school and what we value. Please browse through the pages and read the information available. We hope that you find it useful but strongly believe that you can best appreciate what we do by coming to see us. If you are a parent/carer considering Mandeville as a school for your child, we would encourage you to contact the school office and speak to Mrs Lee Attridge to arrange a visit. We look forward to meeting you and to answering any questions you have about the provision your child will receive here. We would be proud to show you around our school so you can see learning in action!

The Big Pedal

Mandeville is taking part in ‘The Big Pedal’, the UK’s largest inter-school cycling and scooting challenge. The challenge runs from 18th to 29th April.

Thank you to everyone who has got on their bikes and scooters so far and used them to get to and from school. What a fantastic turn out – we are currently 19th out of 575 schools in the East of England, giving us a total of 575 journeys, which equates to 44.6% of the school who are taking part. A brilliant effort!

If you still haven’t dusted your handlebars off yet, there’s still time to join the fun, as you’ve still got all of next week to participate. Come on – let’s see if Mandeville can be in the top 10 schools in England…

Enjoy the ride!
